Frequently Asked

Everything you need to know, in one place.

If you can't find your answer below, our team responds to every enquiry within two working days at hello@workium.co.uk.

01Who should attend the Work Abroad Summit 2026?

Skilled and entry-level professionals seeking international employment, licensed recruitment agencies, employers hiring across borders, immigration experts, government representatives and members of the press.

02Where is the summit being held and how do I get there?

The summit takes place at the Meridian Hotel Conference Centre in Nairobi, Kenya on 31 October 2026. Jomo Kenyatta International Airport is the recommended arrival point, with the venue approximately 25 minutes by road.

03Will visas be processed at the summit?

No. The summit is an introduction and matchmaking event. Successful candidates will be supported through the full visa and relocation process by the relevant licensed partner agency after the event.

04Are interviews really conducted on the day?

Yes. Pre-screened delegates meet hiring representatives across the exhibition floor. While some live offers are extended on the day, most placements proceed through the partner agency's standard verification workflow.

05How do I exhibit or sponsor?

Booth and sponsorship inquiries can be raised through the partner enquiry form or by emailing partners@workium.co.uk. Booth allocation is on a first-come, first-served basis.

06Is the event accessible?

Yes. The Meridian Hotel Conference Centre is fully accessible. Delegates requiring specific assistance can flag requirements at registration so we can prepare in advance.

07How do I get an invitation letter for the visa application?

After your registration is confirmed, our team can issue a formal invitation letter on Workium letterhead. Email visas@workium.co.uk with your passport details and intended dates.

08Is there a virtual / livestream option?

The 2026 summit is an in-person, single-day event. We publish a curated post-event package (recordings + analytics report) for partners and remote delegates within 14 days.

09Can I bring a colleague or friend?

Yes — each delegate registers individually so we can route the right candidates to the right partners. Group registrations for agencies and employers can be coordinated via partners@workium.co.uk.

10Where can I stay in Nairobi?

The Meridian Hotel offers a delegate rate via our booking portal. We also publish a vetted list of hotels within walking distance of the venue closer to the date.
